2014 TruBros Wrap-Up

It’s the last day of 2014, which means it’s the last day of the TruBros Inaugural year! Granted it’s only our first year running this bad boy, we’ve had a lot of fun and we wanted to take a minute to reminisce on all the fantastic things we covered in our first year as the TruBros.

We kicked things off at #RTX2014, and this was the first of many Cons we plan to attend as the TruBros. We played some games, got an #Exclusive peek at the Masterchief Collection (Oh, if only the launch had met our expectations) and attended some interesting panels. It was a great place for us to get acquainted with the #ConLife and we look forward to making RTX a yearly event for us.

The second thing we did was hit up SGC 2014 in Dallas. We played even more games, hit up a lot of panels and even got a pic with Mr. AVGN and Mike Matei. It was a fun time and was a legit gaming convention.

After getting our feet wet with RTX and SGC we made the ultimate #ConLife pilgrimage to San Diego to hit up the one and only #SDCC. It was big, tiring, overwhelming and a whole hell of a lot of fun. We spent way too much money and got our hands on tons of #Exclusives. It was a con for the ages, and we look forward to making the trip to San Diego every year from here on out. #BrosVsSDCC

After #SDCC we didn’t have any Cons on the docket (We’ve got jobs and traveling is expensive) so we decided to hit you with our #BroThoughts on movies, comics, television and gaming. We’ve got a lot of interests and we’re hoping you don’t mind taking some time out of your day to read our #BroThoughts on our favorite things.

2015 means more Cons, more games, more shows, more movies-all the things that make the #NerdLife worth living. The TruBros will do our best to bring you anything and everything we think y’all might be interested in. Now we’ll catch y’all next year, since we’ve got to spend the next few days buried in the Halo 5 Beta. Until then, y’all stay cool and keep chasin’ them #Exclusives. Happy New Year!
